Wheel Life talks to your wheel over Bluetooth, the same channel the manufacturer’s own app uses. What it can read depends on what your wheel broadcasts. Recording, maps, boards and clubs work on every wheel in this list. The differences are in the deeper telemetry.
Full telemetry and controls. Begode wheels do not broadcast which model they are and the BLE name does not carry it either, so you pick your model once in My Wheels. Pack size is worked out live from voltage.
A Begode sub brand on Begode boards, so it speaks the same protocol and reports as Begode. Everything works, and rides read as Begode with your chosen model.
Full telemetry and controls. Kingsong puts the model in its Bluetooth name, so your wheel labels itself. Pro and Pro Plus variants look identical over the air, so pick those by hand.
The most reliable detection of the four: Veteran firmware states its own model, so the app knows exactly what you are riding. Nosfet wheels ride the same protocol and land here too.
Full telemetry and controls, including individual cell voltages and pedal tilt writes. The wheel reports its own model in telemetry.
You can list a Ninebot on your rider profile and ride with everyone, and GPS recording works fine. The app cannot read telemetry off these yet.
A converted wheel is whatever its owner assembled, so there is no model for the app to name. Telemetry reads, settings do not write.
Most wheels running a known protocol connect anyway. This list is just what we have physically tested. Connect yours, and if the app reads it, send us the model so it gets added. If it does not, the diagnostic log tells us why.
